Cabin Style ~

The Chiwawa River Bunkhouse is a genuine log cabin built in the 1960's, right on the high-bank of the Chiwawa River. Fifty-plus years later, it's now owned and outfitted by a pair of Seattle pickers and vintage enthusiasts who have filled the cabin with interesting fixtures, furniture, and art from days past.

Mixed in with the original and vintage elements, you'll be happy to find some modern-day comforts, including WIFI, a flatscreen TV with Netflix, dishwasher, and comfortable beds. For those music aficionados, bring your favorite vinyl and cassettes or listen to the carefully selected CRB collection. Nothing like a cozy night in front of the fireplace listening to Waylon Jennings, Etta James and Queen.

Accommodations ~

Indoors~

The cabin comfortably sleeps 6 people with 2 queens and 1 full bed, and also has 2 bathrooms – one with a shower and one with a bathtub. You'll find a stocked kitchen with some pantry items, including a coffee maker, toaster, crock pot, and a double oven for all your culinary needs. Board games, puzzles, cards, and books are available for your mellow, indoor pursuits.

Outdoors~

The CRB has several options for outdoor relaxing. Lounge on Adirondack chairs on the back deck over-looking the Chiwawa River, enjoy sunny, side-patio seating and a gas grill for summer al fresco meals, or unwind in a comfy chair under the covered front patio while watching a PNW rain shower or snow flurries. During the warm, summer months, you will find cornhole and a croquet set for use in the large, grassy front yard.
